The route of the Covaciella Artists begins at the entrance of the Casa Bárcena Museum where you can visit an excellent replica of the bison of the Covaciella Cave. If the Museum is closed, right here, the application offers us its first scene: "The bison of the Covaciella", which allows us to admire these bison in detail.
Before setting off, we can take the opportunity to see the views of Carreña and its surroundings, as well as the hórreo and the chapel that complete the set of the Casa Bárcena.
The route will take us through places very similar to those known by the artists of La Covaciella. The differences will not be many, we will be less cold and the vegetation will be more lush.
It is time to go down the access road to the Museum towards the Casaño river, between the granary and the chapel. Soon we reach the Town Hall and taking a right, we can take the opportunity to cool off in the fountain. We pass next to the Chapel of La Salud, and soon after we turn left to cross the old stone bridge that spans the stream that crosses Carreña.
After passing over it, we turn left and go down parallel to the stream. We cross the main road and at the bridge over the river Casaño we find the scene of "La Pesca"
Then the path turns right and enters the Vega del Casaño through meadows and woods.
At the height of the soccer field we find the scene of "La Fauna"
When we reach the bridge that connects Berodia and Inguanzo with the main road of the council we turn left and begin to climb. After a short stretch along the road, next to the junction we find the old road that leaving a stream on our left and through the forest leads us to Inguanzo (picture 1).
Inguanzo itself is worth a visit, to know its mansions and its church.
We continue heading to the cemetery. We leave it behind and follow a path that skirts almost horizontally the mountainside and offers excellent views of the Sierra del Cuera, which unfolds in front of us occupying the entire horizon.
And so, looking at the Cuera, in one of the bends between the vegetation we see a small rocky ridge, close to us, which houses the cave of "Las Cabras". Here we can see the scene of "La Vivienda".
After a while we descend to an area where several streams converge, and here we can observe the scene of "La Caza".
The last stretch of the route leads us through the village of Berodia (image 2) before reaching our destination the Recreational Area of the Mirador de Las Cuevas.

From this recreational area we can see both caves, La Covaciella and Las Cabras.
It is a good place to admire the scenery, rest and regain strength.
