Parking in Arenas de Cabrales
Level:550 m - Difficulty: Good trails, moderate - Approximate duration: 3 hours
Description:
We start from Arenas through the Jaces gate and crossing the farm we reach the Boronas trail, a place where a forest of oaks and chestnut trees begins, crossed by the Vau Ranu stream, which we will cross by a cement bridge; 50 m from this bridge there is a crossroads, but we will continue straight ahead to the Naveda huts.
From here the path runs through a thick forest of holm oaks that we leave behind before reaching two rocky outcrops and the Costazu huts.
Following the ascent we find a waterfall called the Bau Guazones, and from here we will begin a steep slope that will take us to the meadow of Nava, where we will find there are several sources.
At its highest point, called the Collau las Arnias, we can contemplate a magnificent view of the Picos de Europa. Descent by the same itinerary
