This sub-action is aimed at contracting a technical service for the drafting of a Mobility Study for the Cabrales council, in order to have a strategic document that serves as a basis for decision-making in terms of mobility management, access and sustainable transport.
The study will include the analysis of multiple factors that shape mobility in the municipality: sociodemographic data, population distribution, equipment, transport supply by modes (pedestrian, cycling, public and private transport), availability and use of parking, as well as the impact of tourist activity on the current system. In addition to the diagnosis, it will include the definition of objectives and lines of action to guide future interventions. This document will be a key tool to move towards a more orderly, efficient and compatible with the principles of sustainability that guide the Tourism Sustainability Plan in Destination (PSTD) of Cabrales.
