This sub-action focuses on improving key recreational areas and viewpoints in the council of Cabrales, reinforcing their role within the local tourism system and their usefulness for the resident population.
The interventions will be carried out in the areas of Asiegu, Carreña, Pandiellu and Ortigueru, all of them of public use and with high landscape value.
Currently, these enclaves present various deficiencies related to the state of conservation, accessibility, signage and adaptation to current sustainability criteria. The planned actions will allow:
Improve the functional and landscape quality of the spaces
Enhance their tourist use in a way compatible with the natural environment
Encourage the inclusion and responsible use of the environment
Develop these resources as part of the tourist offer of the council, allowing their linkage to products such as hiking or cycle tourism
