This action, framed in the Cabrales Tourism Sustainability Plan in Destination (PSTD), aims to carry out the adaptation and signaling works of the future Green Belt, a network of pedestrian routes that will connect different tourist, natural and cultural resources of the council.
The aim is to structure the territory by means of accessible and environmentally friendly paths, favoring a sustainable mobility model that better distributes tourist flows, reduces pressure on saturated areas and diversifies supply.
The intervention is articulated along two main lines:
Environmental adaptation of existing routes, using low-impact techniques compatible with the landscape.
Installation of directional and interpretive signage, which guarantees user orientation and enhances the value of the heritage and natural elements of the route.
The project seeks to generate lasting positive impacts: from improving the tourist experience to activating the local economy and creating jobs linked to rural and nature tourism.
